Laurie H. Glimcher is the Stephen and Suzanne Weiss Dean and Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and the provost for medical affairs of Cornell University. She is also an attending physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Glimcher was president of The American Association of Immunologists from 2003 to 2004 and served on the AAI Council from 1998 to 2003. She was awarded the AAI Excellence in Mentoring Award in 2008 and the AAI Meritorious Career Award in 2006.
