ImmunoHorizons is an open access journal published by The American Association of Immunologists that covers the entire field of immunology research. Criteria for publication include rigorous methodology and robust conclusions that advance the field and are of broad interest. ImmunoHorizons will consider observations of interest even if complete mechanistic or functional characterization cannot yet be provided. ImmunoHorizons will also consider for publication novel methods, assays or computational tools, as well as initial characterizations of novel reagents, including mouse strains, clones and antibodies, even if biological insights have not yet been fully realized. Large descriptive data sets which are of interest to the field will also be considered. All editorial decisions are made by practicing scientists.
AAI Newsletter informs members of public policy developments, society news, career achievement sand professional honors attained by AAI members, grant and award opportunities, meeting announcements, and other news of interest to AAI member scientists.
The "Pillars of Immunology" feature in The Journal of Immunology presents commentaries on published articles that have come to be regarded as classics in the field, along with republication of the original article. To date, articles published from 1953 to 1997 have been featured, affording younger immunologists the opportunity to see what research has come before and how it has led to research today. Additional "Pillars" will be featured from these and other eras in the first issue each month of The Journal of Immunology. As part of its centennial celebrations The American Association of Immunologists is pleased to present the collected "Pillars of Immunology" commentaries in a downloadable format here.
