Else Kröner Fresenius Immunology Award

Call for Nominations for the IUIS-Else Kröner Fresenius Immunology Award

Award submission to AAI is now closed. Interested parties can submit applications directly to IUIS per their instructions through August 1, 2012.

In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the early death of Else Kröner, the Else Kröner Fresenius-Stiftung (EKFS foundation) will endow an international research award of up to € 4 million. The Else Kröner Fresenius Immunology Award intends to acknowledge world-wide pioneering discoveries in the field of medical immunology and to facilitate future research by the winning individual or team.

Nominated candidates must be fully active researchers who have made groundbreaking discoveries in medical immunology. They need to be in the position to accomplish the research intended in the next 3-5 years.

Candidates can be nominated by IUIS member societies including AAI, or directly by self-nomination.
