AAI-DANA FOUNDATION AWARD IN HUMAN IMMUNOLOGY RESEARCH
For significant and sustained
achievement in immunology research pertinent to human disease
pathogenesis, prevention, and therapy
James P. Allison, Ph.D.,
HHMI, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
http://www.mskcc.org/mskcc/html/50929.cfm
In receiving this award, Dr. Allison is recognized for the quality and
breadth of his research accomplishments in elucidating mechanisms of T
cell biology and regulation and the impact those studies have had on the
broad field of human immune therapy. This work has contributed
significantly to the design of research and clinical trials that
directly address regulatory aspects of the human immune response to
tumors. |
